Detailed symptom rules apply only after the process is established. Confirmed FFF/filament jobs use FFF checks. Resin/SLA/MSLA/DLP/LCD or photopolymer jobs use vat-process evidence collection without FFF nozzle, bed, brim, extrusion, or Z-offset instructions. If the process is unknown, the result asks you to identify it before applying settings advice.

Routing: first-layer clues go to the first-layer diagnosis, failure symptoms go to failed-print diagnosis, and plain questions get the general print answer path.

How to photograph and measure the part

Illustration, not a measured part. Photograph the whole part and the surface it fits against; keep a ruler in the same plane. A photo helps explain shape, but cannot establish an accurate fit.

Record measured values when possible. Mark estimates and unknowns, include units, and measure hole spacing center to center. For a load-bearing, hot, electrical, or safety-critical part, get qualified review before making or using a replacement.

Saving and recovery details

Text and selections can be saved in this browser about 2 seconds after an edit, or immediately with Ctrl+S (Command+S on macOS); browser drafts are configured to expire after 7 days and may be removed earlier by browser or site-data cleanup. If an eligibility screen interrupts submission and a current browser draft is still available, the page attempts to restore its saved text and selections in this tab; review them before continuing. The current browser-draft schema is designed to omit uploaded-file bytes. Attachments are currently unavailable. After a signed-in submission succeeds, the resulting Print Case is stored under the applicable access and retention rules.
