Hosted usage is subject to both account and service-wide cost and capacity limits. Larger AI requests can reach the cost allowance before the attempt maximum. Daily allowances reset at midnight UTC; period allowances use the subscription billing period, or the calendar month for Free and credits. Failed hosted attempts can count toward safety limits without charging a product credit. Usage history is kept when allowances reset.
These limits do not unlock paid features. A valid Studio production pass keeps its access even after its purchase uses your last credits. Browser-local editing and local STL downloads do not consume hosted processing or download allowances.

When should I use credits?
Use credits for a specific report, optional Studio AI, or a 24-hour Studio production pass. A pass costs 10 credits and starts when you confirm it; local editing and unverified STL downloads stay free.
Who is the Shop Plan for?
Shop is for regular file review, saved history, quoting workflow, and included Studio server production. Print Studio adds higher monthly report and Premium Analysis capacity. Both have the same 60 server build attempts per rolling 24 hours; failed attempts count. Studio AI uses prepaid credits on both plans.
Why do subscribers still see credits?
Paid plans include report and Premium Analysis capacity and Studio production access. Optional Studio AI is charged separately: 1 prepaid credit for a successful explanation or executable edit candidate. Failed or unusable AI responses and clarification-only responses do not deduct a credit. AI usage limits can still pause requests; buying credits does not bypass those limits. Credits also cover extra reports and analyses.
What payment details does 3D Print Pass retain?
When a card option is available, the current provider-hosted flow submits full card-number and security-code fields on the provider's checkout or portal surface. 3D Print Pass does not intentionally request or persist those fields in its application records; it may retain provider customer and payment-method identifiers, billing and transaction status, and limited display details such as card brand, last four digits, expiration month and year, funding type, and country. The provider portal opens the billing controls enabled for the production account. Available controls may include payment-method changes, invoices, plan changes, and cancellation; confirm the requested change is shown before relying on it.
