1. Service Operator
“3D Print Pass” and “the Service” mean the website, applications, reports, tools, and related services described here. 3D Print Pass is the registered New Jersey alternate name under which the company operating the Service does business. In these Terms, “the Operator” means that company. “You” means the person or organization using the Service. New accounts, purchases, Community publishing, and restricted AI-assisted account workflows are currently offered only to people who are at least 18, are legally able to contract, and use the Service from the United States. Public information, support, security, cancellation, and privacy-request paths may remain reachable elsewhere and do not expand the supported market.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, purchasing access, submitting content, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. The enrollment flow records the Terms and Privacy source versions, U.S. country selection, presented locale, policy version, and an assertion that the user is at least 18 and legally able to contract; it does not collect a date of birth. Do not make the assertion or use a restricted workflow if it is not true. A person using the Service for a business represents that the person has authority to bind that business.
3. Service & Decision Support
3D Print Pass measures supported 3D-file geometry, organizes mesh findings and production-input questions, provides troubleshooting workflows, and creates reports and customer-review records. Source Check examines a submitted URL's structure and known-host rules to create a manual evidence checklist; it does not open the page or verify its contents.
Service output is decision support, not a promise that a file will print successfully, a part will be safe or fit for a use, a quote will be profitable, a source grants commercial rights, or a marketplace will accept a listing. Validate the actual file in the intended slicer, printer, material, environment, and use. Obtain qualified legal, engineering, safety, tax, or compliance advice when the decision calls for it.
4. Accounts & Security
Provide accurate account information, keep credentials and recovery methods confidential, use appropriate account security, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under the account except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise. The Operator may restrict or suspend access to investigate abuse, protect users or the Service, comply with law, or prevent harm.
5. Uploads & Content Rights
You retain any rights you already hold in files, text, images, links, and other content submitted to the Service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit that content and direct its processing, including any customer or third-party information it contains.
You grant the Operator and configured service providers a limited, nonexclusive license to host, copy, scan, transform, analyze, display, and transmit submitted content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the requested Service workflows. User-directed sharing or Community publication may make selected content available to others. Keep an independent copy; 3D Print Pass is not an archival or backup service.
7. Acceptable Use
- Do not upload malware, probe security controls, disrupt the Service, evade limits, or access another person's account or content.
- Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or that you lack authority to process.
- Do not misrepresent a score, source checklist, AI-assisted response, report, or acknowledgment as certification, verified permission, professional advice, or guaranteed approval.
- Do not use the Service as the sole basis for safety-critical, medical, food-contact, child-use, automotive, electrical, structural, weapons-related, regulated, or other high-consequence decisions.
- Do not resell, scrape, reverse engineer, or systematically extract the Service except where applicable law expressly permits the activity.
8. Source & Rights Review
Source and marketplace information can be incomplete, outdated, or ambiguous. You remain responsible for checking the actual license, creator, attribution, commercial-use terms, platform rules, intellectual-property rights, product claims, and applicable law. A Source Check result is not ownership proof, permission, legal clearance, or a legal opinion.
9. Payments, Credits & Subscriptions
Current catalog prices and checkout are in U.S. dollars (USD). Price, billing interval, included usage, renewal terms, tax presentation, and the cancellation method must be reviewed before purchase. Checkout requires a U.S. eligibility record and billing address, and remains disabled until the configured tax mode and retained readiness reference agree with the provider settings. By confirming checkout, you authorize the payment provider to charge the disclosed amount and, for an auto-renewing plan, recurring charges until cancellation takes effect. The billing provider handles full card numbers and security codes; 3D Print Pass retains provider identifiers, transaction and subscription status, tax verification results, billing country, and limited payment-method display details as described in the Privacy Policy.
When cancellation is successfully confirmed by the billing provider, it is scheduled for the end of the then-current paid period unless checkout-specific terms or applicable law state otherwise. Cancellation does not itself issue a refund. Credits are Service access units, are not money, and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash except where applicable law requires. Unused purchased credits are handled according to the terms disclosed at purchase and applicable law; ending a subscription does not itself convert them to cash. Report duplicate or incorrect charges promptly through the payment-issue path; use billing and invoices for invoice or billing-record questions. Any refund, tax, cancellation, renewal-notice, or consumer remedy required by applicable law remains available.
10. Optional AI Features
Some configured features may send bounded prompts, selected text, original filenames, model measurements, an image, or source-review material such as a public URL, page title, and bounded page excerpt to an AI service provider. The Service may save provider/model identifiers or generated output with the workflow record. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. Review it against measured facts and qualified professional advice; do not rely on it as a certification or as the sole basis for a high-consequence decision.
11. Service Ownership & Feedback
User content and third-party materials remain subject to their respective owners' rights. Using the Service does not transfer ownership of that content. The Operator may use feedback to improve the Service; do not include confidential information in feedback.
12. Availability, Changes & Termination
The Operator may modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue features for security, reliability, legal, operational, or product reasons. Uninterrupted availability, preservation of every record, compatibility with every file, and successful analysis are not guaranteed. Account access may be terminated for material or repeated violations, unlawful use, security risk, nonpayment, or harm to the Service or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect.
13. Disclaimers & Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, accuracy, availability, or a particular result. No automated scan or security control eliminates all risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits or revenue, lost data, business interruption, failed prints, material or equipment loss, listing removal, customer claims, or decisions made from Service output. Aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of USD 100 or the amount paid for the Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Jurisdictions that do not allow a limitation receive only the limitations permitted there.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you will defend and indemnify the Operator from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from content you submit or publish, products you make or sell, infringement or rights violations, misuse of the Service, or violation of these Terms. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by the Operator's own unlawful conduct.
14. Changes, Severability & Contact
The Operator may update these Terms. When a Terms version is configured as requiring renewed acceptance, authenticated use is gated until the current version is accepted. That in-product gate does not replace any separate notice or approval process required by applicable law. If a provision cannot be enforced, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. These Terms and any checkout-specific terms form the agreement for the Service; a separate signed agreement controls where it expressly says so.
Route questions about these Terms through the legal contact path. Use the copyright notice and counter-notice intake for copyright claims. Use business inquiry for general company matters, and billing and invoices for billing questions.
The Operator published this exact version for production prelaunch. Accounts and configured payments are enabled by owner operating settings, not by formal legal or tax approval. The release pipeline verifies this document version and source hash before deployment.
