Customer handoff

Review the risks before production.

Use a shared report to explain the findings and quote assumptions. Record the customer's decision in your normal order system. Anyone with the working report link may be able to open it.

Evidence, review, then a recorded decision Three connected stages represent preparing a report, sharing its findings, and recording the customer's decision. EVIDENCEREVIEWDECISION
A clear review sequence

Share the evidence before filament and machine time are committed.

1

Prepare the report

Score the uploaded model, review the findings, validate the job in your slicer, and write down quote assumptions.

2

Choose what to share

From a saved report with Full report access, create the customer link deliberately. Review what its recipient can see before sending it. Anyone with the working link may be able to open it.

3

Record the decision

Keep the customer's acceptance, requested changes, or rejection in your normal order or messaging system before production.

A useful customer message

Give the customer one clear decision.

This teaching message uses the illustrated sample report. Replace its finding and assumptions with the actual job evidence before sending a customer reply.

The model still needs mesh cleanup before the quote can be finalized. The current material and cleanup figures are provisional. Please confirm the intended dimensions and use; the revised file will be checked again before production is authorized.

Requested answer

Ask for the missing dimension, use, revised file, or decision. Record the answer in the shop's normal order system.

Make the change visibleA useful acknowledgment starts with a review the customer can understand.

Connect the original file, repair decision, revised quote, and expected result in one handoff.

What the customer should be able to review

  • The file name, intended dimensions, and model preview.
  • Geometry findings, repair requests, and remaining slicer checks.
  • Quote assumptions, material, finish, quantity, and customer-use questions.
  • The exact next step: acknowledge the review, authorize work through the shop's normal process, request a change, provide information, or stop.

A shared report is not a contract.

Print Score helps communicate the preflight record. A name and email entered through a shared report link are not identity verification, a signature, payment, or production authorization. Keep legally significant consent, payment terms, production authorization, and marketplace messages in the system your business already uses.
